I started practising Yoga about 5 years ago, right at the beginning of Covid times. Yoga supported me during hard times and gave me direction; later on, becoming the foundation of a new life.

I finally decided to take this up further and build a career around my passion, so I travelled to Bali to complete my Yoga Teacher Training (200hr) where I am grateful to have met excellent teachers from India.

When I was a child, I used to practice judo and at 14, I joined the National Judo team of Romania and trained with Olympic athletes. However, back problems made me stop. In my search for healing, I found Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and later Yoga. I was surprised to see how similar BJJ and yoga are, particularly in how mindful breathing and physical benefits.

Yin and Yang Yoga Class

I believe that having fun during practice is essential because it reconnects us with our natural state.. which is joy! That’s why I like to include funky and fun shapes with variations for all levels, allowing everyone to safely enjoy themselves, feel a sense of achievement by the end, and experience the benefits of practising the mind-body connection through breath.

We'll begin the class with an energizing flow to awaken our inner fire and connect with our Yang energy—the active, dynamic, and masculine force within us. Smooth but ‘spicy’, my flows are well-rounded, incorporating both breathwork and movement and are beginner-friendly.

As we progress, we'll gradually slow down, transitioning into calming, restorative poses. In the second half of the class, we'll focus on deep, nourishing shapes, holding each for 2-3 minutes, allowing us to fully immerse in our Yin energy—the soft, nurturing, and feminine side.
