Phoebe is a yoga teacher and wellness facilitator based in Bristol. She offers in-person and online regular group classes, private classes and one-one practices. Her classes intended to support students by guiding them through an embodied and gentle yoga practice. She likes to describe her teaching style as 'releasing what is unknowingly festering in the body,' offering adjustments and cues so that you can turn inward and be aware of the subtle sensations of your body and breath. Phoebe's classes aim to meet you where you are at, holding space for you to receive the benefits of your yoga practice.

She is trained in Hatha and Restorative Yoga. Her classes incorporate styles of Vinyasa, Yin, and Somatic practices, which are themed around seasonal mindfulness.

Phoebe has always been curious about how we can feel more connected with ourselves and the world around us. Her interest in trauma-aware yoga and the nervous system are something Phoebe would like to pursue training in, believing that yoga provides the comfort we need to navigate our emotions and especially support anxiety and dissociation. Phoebe’s yoga practice invites you to notice your beating heart and your breath, the way you move your body, the muscles and bones that make you a living being.

Her approach to teaching offers breathwork, meditation, holding a pose to feel the sensation of it, moving fluidly and creative sequencing. She offers cues and adjustments that invite students to practice but are always optional.
