I am a British Wheel of Yoga qualified teacher (level 3), trained to a degree standard in dance & religious studies (Level 4 qualified), where Pilates is the foundation for strength and stability. 

I have taught Yoga/Pilates in the local community for over 18 years and I have worked with a vast variety of stunning people.  Even now they inspire me with their courage to stay genuinely connected in their engagement with their body, mind and spirit. I teach between 2-5 classes a day, where I love to support clients to build a sustainable practise that will help them in every aspect of their life.

In my formative years I was born during a civil war.  I survived with a deep love of water, a love which was taught by my father so I would be unafraid. This experience has left me deeply interested in the space created by movement. Not just in the beauty of the breath, but in the grace given from when we move towards ourselves with love. I believe powerful healing occurs when we let ourselves know we are supported. Like art, we become alive with colour and life when we reach towards ourselves with the intention of coming home.

For me, my whole lifes practice has been about sculpting a deep yoga support that can be taken into both the darkest and lightest moments, to support all of our journeys. I hope even one of these practises you will be able to take and use as your own.

Yoga/Pilates combined class

A beautiful Yoga/pilates session with a gentle flow and sustained postures.  Each class combines a variety of movement styles from Yoga and Pilates, but with a pure Yoga heart, ahimsa and breath.

Prenatal Yoga/Pilates class

A beautifully tailored prenatal class to support your pregnancy journey. Safe and effective exercises are combined with nourishing breathing techniques, deep relaxations and reassuring language to ensure you feel supported, equipped and focused.

Each session is designed to bring forth and enhance your skills in preparation for labour and beyond, whether you use the session as a much needed respite from your day or as a focused practice into motherhood.

Mother and Baby Yoga Class

Mother and baby Yoga session at BYC provides a safe, gentle and delicate space so mother and baby can replenish, bond and practise together in movement and breath.

A beautifully crafted postnatal session for both mother and baby.  Safe and effective exercises are combined with nourishing relaxations, reassuring language to support early motherhood and multiple practise skills to enhance your natural ability to support your baby.

Each session includes exercises for post natal recovery for you, exercises for your baby to enhance their natural development and exercises for you both, to enhance your natural bonding ability.  Sessions designed to relax you both deeply, whether you use the session for a much needed rest from your day or just to connect with other like minded mums. 

You can start these classes from 6 weeks post birth and continue up until your baby is 1 year old.


Women’s Yoga

A gentle and restorative women’s yoga class suitable for pregnancy through to menopause.  Each session provides a safe space for women during all stages of their journey. Women's Yoga is suitable for:

  • Pregnancy & Postnatal

  • PMT

  • Perimenopuase & Menopause 

  • Various other Women’s health issues

Each session includes gentle, inclusive movement so you can develop a consistent support, with restorative relaxations to promote recovery and build a delicate strength.
