4 Week Beginner Yoga Course with Cecilia

Time: 7:15-8:15pm weekly (you can attend all 4 sessions or drop in to class).
About the course
Yoga is for everyone, regardless of age, body types, or fitness level.
There are studies showing so many benefits in practicing yoga. It helps increase flexibility in our bodies, it helps reduce stress and most importantly, it regulates emotions and fosters our peace.
In this gentle beginner-friendly course, we will learn the basic understanding of yoga, including physical practices (asana), breathing exercises (pranayama) and seated meditation. We will have an overview of different types of poses and learn how to breathe during the practice.
This series is designed for beginners, or those who want to know the basics in yoga. We encourage everyone in the class to use props to maintain the integrity of the body.
If you are doing the course in-person, you are more than welcome to bring your own yoga mat. Otherwise, the studio will provide all the props needed. If you are practising at home, please prepare your own yoga mat, two yoga blocks, and a yoga strap (or a small towel).
