Relax and rejuvenate in a secluded and beautiful villa with gorgeous grounds and indoor and outdoor pools. There’s a specially built yoga studio and a beautiful outdoor practice area.
This is an exclusive stand-alone villa and the entire complex will be ours for the whole duration. Unlike many other retreats, the group will be kept to a small size (maximum of 12 people) so that you can receive more personal attention and learn yoga in an intimate setting.
Villa La Peña is located in a stunning elevated position in the La Pena area (Natural Park) of Tarifa, nestled between mountain and sea with a panoramic view over miles of sandy beaches. It faces the Strait of Gibraltar, looking out east across to Morocco's Rif Mountains and west to the Port of Tangiers.
Lovely sandy beaches are within a short walking distance of the retreat. The town of Tarifa is about 10 minutes away by car. Tarifa is a cosmopolitan town, historically and geographically significant as Mainland Europe's southern most point, where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic.
Retreat Prices Include:
- Full use of the retreat and its facilities
- 2 Yoga sessions per day (there will be equivalent to one day off during the week)
- Full Yoga Equipment including mats, bolsters, blocks, blankets & eye pillows
- Free Wi-Fi
- Bathroom supplies and towels
- Two Meals per day
Food provided and catered by excellent local chefs and the ingredients are locally sourced, seasonal and mostly organic. Much of the vegetables and fruit come straight from retreat garden.
Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and other specific dietary requirements available.

Massage and beauty treatments such as facial and manicure can be arranged at the massage room in the villa. Most of the listed activities can also be organised by the retreat centre.
There are three great beachside cafés and restaurants within walking distance of the venue and there are lots of cafes and restaurants in Tarifa town.
The old town part of Tarifa has interesting variety of independent shop and a great atmosphere.

Gibraltar Airport is the closest (40 min) but you can also fly to Malaga (1 hour and 45 min).
Both Ryanair & EasyJet fly from Bristol to Malaga on Saturdays. There are plenty of flights available from London airports to Gibraltar and Malaga. Try to book your flights early to get the best deal.
If you are flying from Bristol to Malaga, I recommend getting the following EasyJet flight that I will be using:

There are 4 ensuite twin rooms and 2 twin rooms that share a bathroom. Rooms will be assigned on a first come first served basis.
Sample Daily Schedule
- 07:30 - 08:45: Yoga
- 09:00 - 10:00: Breakfast or Brunch
- 10:00 - 18:00: Free time
- 18:00 - 19:00: Yoga (Restorative yoga, Pranayama and Meditation)
- 19:30 - 21:00: Evening meal
These times are for reference only and may change slightly.
Naomi teaches Hatha yoga and the classes are suitable for beginners as well as more seasoned practitioners - modifications and alternative poses will be given. There will be two daily yoga classes per day except for equivalent of one rest day during the week. The morning class will be more energetic and the evening class will be more restorative and relaxing. We will also practice meditation and pranayama (breathing techniques) as well as some basic Vedic chanting and relaxation techniques such as Yoga Nidra.
