Pregnancy Classes at Bristol Yoga Centre
At Bristol Yoga Centre we offer specialist pregnancy & postnatal classes. If you are new to Pilates or Yoga, it’s best to attend these specialist classes. Our group classes are kept small to allow individual attention and safe practice.
Monday 17:00 - 18:00pm
If you already have a regular Pilates practice and don't feel too tired, you can start these classes during your first trimester. If you are new to Pilates it’s probably best to wait until after your first trimester. You can continue these classes right up until the birth of your baby.
Thursday 19:30pm – 20:30pm
This class is suitable for women from six weeks post-birth until you have regained the strength to go back to regular Pilates or exercise classes. You can begin these classes up to 18 months post birth if you haven’t yet focused on recovery. The exercises will be modified to suit individual needs.
Celia is a chartered physiotherapist with over 11 years experience and a special interest in women's health. If you have any questions at all or would like to discuss anything please feel free to contact her.
General classes welcoming pregnancy
We believe that it’s best to attend specialist classes where possible but if you’re more experienced and would like to come to one of our general classes, these classes are also suitable.
The following classes are taught by teachers who hold a specialist pregnancy qualification. Please let the teacher’s know that you are pregnant before the class starts.
