During this experiential day we will learning to sit and ‘be’ with ourselves in order to find a deeper connectedness which includes building a strong foundation and connection to being grounded. We will look at what gets in the way and makes it difficult or challenging to sit and meditate. We will look at how taking time to sit and be in stillness and presence feeds and nourishes our being and how this then radiates through our days and doing’s. We will very much be developing a ‘feeling’ awareness in all the work that we do which is away from the busy, cluttered and unproductive mind state that many people live with.
We may also look at ways that we may begin to work with strong emotions and states of being and in this way may gain some insight into such areas as fear, loneliness, anxiety, depression and other commonly experienced emotions.
There will be a short asana session where we will work with similar
principles as part of this days teaching.
