Mindful Seeing
A holistic approach to transform the way we see
Join Naomi for a mindful seeing lunchtime event at the Arnolfini. This is part of Arnolfini’s Season’s Healing in response to the exhibition Emma Talbot: Everything is Energy, which explores themes of grief, healing, trauma, the body, and rest.
We’ll use breathing techniques and gentle accessible movement to relax and focus our eyes, mind and body. We’ll then transition downstairs to see the exhibition mindfully; our relaxed state will allow us to be present with our experience. Even if you have seen her work already, this session will encourage you to see it in a new way.
There will also be explanation on Vision Yoga and mindfulness, and time for Q & A and to share your experience.
Stools and yoga mats will be available for you to use. You do not need to wear specific clothes, but your welcome to wear something comfortable.
Everyone welcome – you don’t need to have experience of yoga or mindfulness.
This is a donation-based event. You can choose to attend for free or a set suggested donation amount.
Please book in advance as there are limited spaces available.
