Holding space for yourself and others with Naomi

  • Bristol Yoga Centre 10 Park Row Bristol, England, BS1 5LJ United Kingdom (map)

This workshop explores how to hold space for others, whilst looking after yourself. Holding space is facilitating and listening to others, this can be in large or small groups, or with individuals.

We will acknowledge the value of this often overlooked role. There will be group discussions on our experiences and how best to support ourselves and others.

It is suitable for yoga teachers, therapists, carers, or anyone who regularly holds space for others in professional and personal capacity. We’ll explore different ways to feel more grounded and present, so that we can support others without burning out or taking on too much.

Please wear clothes you can freely move in as we will be doing movement, relaxation, and meditation practice. Also bring a pen and paper so that we can keep a journal.
