Gentle Yoga and Meditation for Peace Event

June 16, 2024 Naomi Hayama

“In a world troubled by war, civil unrest, political tension, and personal conflict, yoga’s ability to relieve stress and foster inner calm offers a potent tool for promoting peace,” Diana O’Reilly, BWY Chair.

We've just joined Yoga for Peace Movement with the British Wheel of Yoga. This event is intended to harness yoga's power to release tension and cultivate calm, creating personal and communal healing.

We have chosen a gentle and inclusive form of yoga and meditation practice to foster a welcoming environment where everyone can unite in the shared intention of peace and hope.  You can read more about this event on our blog.

This session is taking place on Saturday 13th July from 11-12pm and it’s available to attend online or in-person. All levels of students including complete beginners welcome. Please book in advance through our website.

Suggested donation amount is £5 or £4 for concessions but you can also register for free if you cannot afford the fee. All proceed will be going to a local charity, Bristol Mind. We have their donation box in the studio so you’re welcome to donate further if you wish.

Please help promote this inspiring event by sharing. We look forward to welcoming you in our studio.

New Donation Based Yoga Class

June 12, 2023 Naomi Hayama

We’re really proud to announce another donation based class starting from September. Bebe, a new yoga teacher who has been offering a private donation based yoga class to her friends for several months, has recently decided to open it up to the public. This will be on Wednesday morning from 8-8:45am from 27th September. More details about the class will be released shortly.

Ella is now on her summer holiday and Cecilia and Natasha are taking over her community yoga classes on Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30-8:30pm until October.

Donation based and community classes are exactly the same as our other excellent classes but available at a reduced price. We understand yoga can be difficult to afford and we hope that this will help more people to access our brilliant teachers.
