We've added more dates for Aimee's new and full moon restorative sessions the next one is this Saturday 6th April from 2-3:30pm. Cecilia is also going to be running a beginner's backbend class on Saturday 11th May from 11-12:30pm.
Kate has just scheduled new dates for her Yoga Basics course in September. Claire's lovely mum and baby yoga have successfully started and we are proud to be offering wide range of specialist classes.
Naomi's yoga retreat in Japan has now sold out but there are still spaces available in Chamonix in September. She will be away from 12th April to 10th May. Her Monday evening, Tuesday lunch time and Friday morning classes are covered by Travis and Hana. Her donation based mindfulness Meditation and community outdoor/indoor yoga class in Horfield will be closed during her time away.

Menopause Awareness Month
October is the Menopause Awareness month. The IMS (International Menopause Society) along with the World Health Organisation (WHO) have been trying to raise more awareness of the menopause and the support options available for improving health and wellbeing for women.
We have organised a new Yoga for Perimenopause workshop with Naomi on Sunday 5th November from 11am -1pm.
Perimenopause is even less known or talked about and Naomi has recently written a blog post on her Perimenopause experience to shed more light on this natural journey. She believes it’s important for women to be able to share and support each other through these experiences.
Come and join us for a lovely relaxing session of yoga and meditation, especially designed for Perimenopause and Menopause. There will also be an opportunity to chat and share your experience in a safe and caring environment.
New Donation Based Mindfulness Meditation Class
We’re pleased to announce a new donation based Mindfulness Meditation and Yoga class with Naomi. This is a weekly class on Wednesday from 10-11am and suitable for all levels of students, including beginners.
Suggested donation amount is £5 or £4 for concessions but you can simply choose to pay what you can afford by selecting to register for free and paying what you can afford at the studio. Please bring cash along with you.
You won’t be turned away from lack of funds but we have limited spaces available, so please try and book in advance. Drop in students are welcome if there are spaces available in the class.

Yoga in Horfield
Naomi's outdoor yoga class in Horfield continues indoors in a lovely fairly light lit cabin at the Civil Service Sports Club every Thursday from 6:30 - 7:30pm. The space is well ventilated and warm and there are mats, blocks and other props available.
Naomi focuses on mindful movements and postures that encourages natural range of motion, optimal health and well being. Beginners and all levels of students welcome.
Please book in advance as there are limited spaces available. You can also use community 5 class pass for this class.
Community Class at BYC
At Bristol Yoga Centre, we believe that classes should be accessible to everyone, so we are offering low priced Community Classes.

We also have outdoor yoga with Naomi in Horfield which is a cheaper price option. Our classes are suitable for all levels of students including beginners.

Mindfulness Meditation in Challenging Times
We’ve just uploaded a new blog post on the importance of mindfulness meditation in challenging times. There are lots of other interesting articles related to Yoga Asanas, Pranayama and Meditation so please feel free to check it out.
We will be posting different meditation techniques and tips of practice to help you get started. We currently also offer live online donation based mindfulness meditation and yoga class on Wednesday morning from 10-11am every week. This is a small friendly group class focusing on simple movements, breathing practice and meditation techniques to connect and be present with ourselves. We will also explore relaxation methods to help you feel more settled and relaxed.
Suggested donation is £6 but you can pay whatever you can afford. The proceeds for this class will be going to Bristol Mind, mental health charity in Bristol. All levels of students welcome!
